SCope of Work
The scope of work was to completely strip & refinish all the landscape/ hardscape finishes including the waterproofing membrane and joints on the parking garage deck in the courtyard area (47,500 sq.ft.) between. The 2 buildings remained fully operational throughout the project with all entrances open and required a high level of oversight to ensure the project was completed in a safe and timely manner.
As this was a wholesale repair project of the garage deck, the general scope involved the entire range items found on various types or scales of garage repair projects and therefore clearly outlines TRUGRP’s ability as a contractor to tackle future garage restoration projects.

The Process
Scope of work items included:
✓ Complete stripping of finishes including all asphalt, concrete sidewalks/ pads, light posts, irrigation lines, curbs, planters, plantings, overburden and waterproofing on the deck.
✓ Marking out and completing concrete repairs throughout including topside, through slab, vertical and soffit repairs.
✓ Completing proper surface preparation of the deck including sandblasting and shotblasting.
✓ Install a new 2 ply hot-rubber waterproofing system throughout the deck area including downturns and upturns.
✓ Install new prefabricated gland expansion joints through the general area of the courtyard deck and at building upturns.
✓ Reinstatement of drainage courses & overburden overburden.
✓ Placement of all new finishes and landscaping including asphalt, HD unit pavers, landscaping items such as sod and plantings, site lighting/ electrical, site furnishings, concrete curbs and planters (including patterned and stained concrete).
