Residential Project: Rear Addition Renovation

SCope of Work

TRUGRP completed a comprehensive rear addition and full interior upgrade at a residential property in Toronto. Over a 10-month construction period, the existing addition was fully removed down to the foundation walls and rebuilt with new framing and structural elements to accommodate aluminum-clad wood windows and doors. Through consistent communication and a proactive approach to decision-making, the project was delivered on time and on budget—providing the clients with a modernized, functional, and high-quality home tailored to their needs.

The Process

Interior enhancements included all new engineered hardwood flooring, heated tile flooring in select spaces, solid-core interior doors with upgraded hardware, custom poplar trim, a new custom kitchen, and bespoke bathroom vanities. On the exterior, the new rear addition was clad with a pre-treated and painted wood siding assembly, blending durability with modern design.

The project required close collaboration with architects, structural engineers, interior designers, and the homeowners to balance efficiency, design intent, and budget.
